Join Practitioners' List

We are pleased you are considering joining the UK Directory of Black and Asian Therapists. Joining the directory is free. There are two lists; the Directory List and the network List.

Directory List
If you are offering a service to the public and want to appear on the directory you can register online in the members area

Or

You can down load the application form  and return by post.

Down load the Invitation letter

Entry to the directory is open to qualified counsellors or senior trainees (who have completed a diploma in counselling of at least two years duration), psychotherapists, clinical or counselling psychologists, and psychiatrists who are working in private practice.

Entrants should be members of a professional association or under a member organisation which operates a complaints procedure (i.e. BACP; UKCP Training Organisation; BPS; GMC etc).

We reserve the right to decline entry to the directory.

At a later date we may well expand the list to include complementary therapists and other health practitioners.
The directory will be updated regularly to ensure it stays as relevant as possible.

Network List
If you are a practicing therapist working in the public sector, the voluntary sector, in a private organisation or you are a trainee or student therapist you can join the network list more. You can also join the network list if you would just like to support the network and be kept in touch with what's happening.
